Force it (Saint Gregory the Theologian)

If the flesh attracts something wicked and if the earthly body drags down the nous, even though the latter is making its way upwards, or at least was created in order to do so, let the divine image remove the mud,  and let it force the flesh, which is under the same yoke, to turn upwards.
