I have been married for four years and I could not have a child. During the third year of my marriage a relative visited the Holy Mount Athos and brought me a ribbon blessed on the Holy Belt of the Mother of God. I have been trying for three years to have a child. I prayed a lot and made many supplications but the desired outcome would not take place. I was fasting, I was taking the Holy Communion often, but nothing happened.

I put on the ribbon. Within three months, I got pregnant and had a healthy baby girl, named Christina.  Now, I am glorifying and expressing my gratitude to the Most Holy Lady and our mother.

55. The Grace of our Most Holy Lady has performed a miracle

During the summer of 2001, almost a year ago, when I visited the Vatopedi Monastery I had taken with me several ribbons blessed on the Holy Belt. My niece, Maria Kapodistria, had been married for five years but had no child. When I gave her one ribbon, she immediately became pregnant and had a baby in August.

The Grace of our Most Holy Lady has performed the miracle.
