An American man was under psychiatric observation after becoming the first adult to survive a jump over Niagara Falls without using safety equipment. Witnesses standing in the spray of Niagara Falls looked on in disbelief as they say a man go head first over the waterfall, bob up below and pull himself up on rocks wearing only the clothes on his back, news reports said Tuesday, 21 October 2003.
