Official Turkish gov’t webpage attempts revisionary dispute of Armenian Genocide

The effort is part of official Ankara’s long-standing attempt to «fight», as it says, «propaganda and to restore the truth surrounding events of 1915.»

The official Turkish webpage puts forth a revisionist claim that the Ottoman empire never persecuted or attempted to exterminate minority groups based on their ideological or religious affiliation, while claiming that all of the peoples in the crumbling empire suffered during WWI.
