Mt. Pritchard’s Arabic School graduation

In January of this year and with blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Basilios Kodseie of the Antiochian Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, the parish registered as a community language school with the Department of Education.

On Monday 9 December, the Arabic School of Saint Mary’s Antiochian Orthodox Church of the Dormition Mount Pritchard held its annual graduation ceremony and offered participation certificates to its 50 students who registered this year.

The teachers were also honored with icons of the Mother of God as a token of appreciation for their dedication and commitment. The ceremony began with songs and a theatrical performance by the students and ended with a fellowship dinner in celebration of this milestone.
