‘Great Hours’ this month at the Herod Atticus Odeon

The Pemptousia platform is a sponsor of a performance of excerpts of the trilogy “Great Hours”, by composer Andreas Katsigiannis, to be held at the Herod Atticus Odeon on Sept. 29.
The performance is a collaboration with the State Orchestra of Athens.

The excerpts will be interpreted by performers Glykeria, Dimitris Bassis and Jonathan Jackson, the noted US musician and actor, along with 100 choristers from three separate choirs.
The State Orchestra of Athens will be conducted by Stathis Soulis. Greek stage actor Nikitas Tsakiroglou will narrate.

The event producer is the St. Maximus the Greek Institute.
